Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a family of faith with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She passed on her divine grace on her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Reverend Ken is his brother and is the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which is home several top-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon decided to follow her father's example of sharing the Word of God with all people. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a gifted gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated at Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture in Bendel State University. While still in university While still in university, the Man of God began what would turn out to be the biggest congregation in the world. It started with the formation of a small prayer group called 'Youth for Christ'. The group would later grow to be the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers worldwide.

Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world 24/7 nonstop on free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the globe.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representation across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The ministry has two Healing Schools based in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris organizes sessions during the season which allow miracles to take place.

Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is trained and overseen by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singers have successful solo careers.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a passionate charity-minded person who founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI), which is a non-profit, nonprofit organization that has as its mission to assist the most vulnerable individuals and communities in the most deprived countries and regions across the world.

Apart from preaching the Gospel message the Man Of God has also created NGOs which are charged with providing vital services and hope to the most vulnerable and neglected people. The five partners of COFI share a common goal: to raise living standards and improve the quality of life in the most disadvantaged regions.

COFI's umbrella covers the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to enhance the health, lives, and spirits of those most in need.

His charity also provides nourishment for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes that solid communities are supported by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This encourages accountability and good governance. It also promotes sustainable development in Africa as well as other areas of vulnerability in the world, according to the Sustainable Development Goals.
