He is the oldest son born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that has a host of gospel top-selling artists.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon decided to follow in her father's footsteps in sharing God's Word to the world.
