Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a faith-filled family with loving, dedicated parents. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the pioneers in the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son early.

The entire family is engaged in the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is Ken's older brother and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. The LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home to many gospel artists that are the top-selling globally.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen the path of her father of preaching the Word of God to the world. Also known CSO, she is a gospel singer who has won awards and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education in Edo College. After a grant was made to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he received a BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a priest and minister to the Lord.

He had a small prayer group called 'Youth for Christ', which later grew into the most popular groups of its kind on campus. The LoveWorld ministry was established under the direction of Pastor Chris. It is a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa all day, on air-free networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. It also operates two Healing Schools in South Africa, Canada and the United States, where Pastor Chris runs sessions throughout the year, in which miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music are an important element of the worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir training. Many of these singers are successful soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's guidance.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that seeks to continue the work of Pastor Chris. In addition to preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has also created a variety of non-profit organizations with the aim of providing essential aid and hope to the poor, needy or neglected. COFI is a partnership of five that are committed to enhancing living standards in the least-served areas.

COFI's umbrella covers the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission.
